None of us can say it has been a great year with the impact of COVID still ever-present, but more reason therefore to celebrate the small (and some big!) wins. Being pressured to revisit how we did things, as a result of the pandemic, meant we had to make some important changes in the business. So, alongside these and other exciting news, we want to share with you what we have classed as ‘The Best of 2021 for Vernham Labels’.
Through the dedication and hard work of our teams, we are proud to have gained BSI accreditation for Quality Management. Delivering exceptional quality labels, consumables and packaging to all our customers is something we are careful and passionate about doing. Receiving the recognition in the form of external assessment was very rewarding and gives our customers further confidence that we are the right partner to choose when it comes to all your printed label needs.
Flexibility was key for us this year and it is how we managed to continue to service our clients with labels, in light of the phenomenal changes brought on us by COVID. With our exceptional customer service, we once again received zero customer complaints and a fantastic 99% on time delivery service.
In 2021 we increased our finishing capabilities with the purchase of a new offline inspection, slitting and rewind machine. This, alongside our already in-house slitter/rewinders enables us to finish off customer orders much quicker and increase our turnaround capabilities. With all the industry seeing numerous price increases of raw materials, this new purchase enables us in some way to keep any cost implications for our customers to a minimum.
As many of you might know, we are passionate about football. We have been partnering with the Southampton Football Club for a number of years now, but at the start of this year, we were excited to become one of their Bronze Patrons for the Saints Foundation. Through contributions to this valuable foundation we can help support multiple charities, as well as make a difference to the lives of adults and young people.
In 2021, we are once again proud sponsors of Andover New Street football club and going forward we have just agreed sponsorship for young Harry Hickton in next seasons Junior Saloon Car Championship. We are delighted to be part of this talented lad’s journey into the world of motor racing and can’t wait to see how the season progresses. More info on this will follow early 2022 but it looks to be another exciting year for Vernham Labels.
