Combining our passion for Southampton Football Club and our commitment to charity work, Vernham Labels is a Bronze Patron and proud supporter of the Saints Foundation Charity.
Whether they are helping our older adults remain independent and healthy through the Senior Saints project, giving our footballers with disabilities the opportunity to test themselves in competitive football, or empowering young adults and students through education and into employment, the main focus of the charity is helping people in our community. They are the club’s way of giving back and helping to transform lives, both on and off the pitch.
Saints Foundation, on behalf of Southampton Football Club endeavour to support a vast array of local charities, by hosting a wide range of memorable fundraising events. Committed to working with businesses and individuals that share the values of our charity, the foundation has now been involved with Vernham Labels for several years.
Not only were we delighted to join the Saints Foundation as a patron, contributing to local charities who change the lives of adults and young people, we were also able to take it a step further and supply much needed flyers and leaflets to help with the foundation's Covid-19-related charitable activities.
Like many other charities, the Friends of Saints Foundation missed out on vital donations during the Covid-19 pandemic, accumulating to a loss of more than £250,000. However, their commitment to supporting the local community did not stop, partnering with food and prescription delivery services for those in need over the lockdown period.
